DRESS CODE POLICY
Proper Attire:
- One-piece leotards or properly fitted tee shirts and athletic shorts are acceptable for class.
- No oversized clothing should be worn that may impede the athlete’s vision when inverted
- Please no leotards with attached skirts or bare midriffs
- Please do not send an athlete to class in any clothing with buttons, snaps or zippers
- Athletes should attend class barefoot, without socks on, as they pose a slipping hazard on some surfaces in the gym (EXCEPTION: Tumbling classes may wear clean -indoor only- cheer shoes.)
- Hair should be secured neatly away from the child’s face, with long hair secured in a bun or other style that will not impede the athlete’s ability to see or get in the way during inversion of the body. If the ponytail touches the floor or mat when doing a handstand, it must be secured in a bun.
- All jewelry (except stud earrings in the ear lobes) must be removed before class
- All other personal belongings should be left in a cubby or with parents.
- Please do not bring valuables into the gym, as we are not responsible for lost items
