Everest Gymnastics Training Center is seeking to fill positions in our Huntersville & Cornelius locations.
We are looking to fill the following positions as of August 2024:
- Part-time and full-time Team Coaches
- AAU Coaches (Bronze/Copper)
- Pre-Team Coaches
- Level 4-7 Beam/Floor Coach
- Level 4-10 Vault/Bars Coach
- Part-time Recreational Coaches
- Recreational Coordinator – Cornelius location
- Part-time afterschool and birthday party staff
- Part-time front office staff

Requirements for ALL positions at Everest Gymnastics:
- Must love working and having fun with children of all ages!
- Be a leader of safety, education, and fun to help build a positive environment for growth.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, organized, reliable, mature, professional, safety-minded and able to work well with others.
- Communicate clearly and with top customer service to peers, parents and students. We expect Everest employees to be great role models to our young athletes both in and out of the gym.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Must complete USAG membership, pass background check, and pass training courses within the first 60 days.
- Complete Concussion Training within the first 60 days.
- Must complete Everest’s in-house ProActive Training within first 60 days.
Office Administrator
Duties:
- Must be very detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Take direction well, but can also take initiative.
- Be flexible with multi-layered job duties.
- Assist customers and families at the front desk.
- Answer phones, messages, emails.
- Use class management software to post fees, enroll students, create family accounts, process payments, keep family accounts up to date, generate reports.
- Must be confident in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, and other computer programs.
- Take inventory and order supplies.
- Treat the facility with care and consideration by engaging and completing assigned cleaning tasks.
Recreational Coach
Duties:
- Coach, mentor, and be a positive (and fun!) influence to children while coaching skills and demonstrating safe spotting techniques.
- Treat the facility with care and consideration by engaging and completing assigned cleaning tasks.
- Take attendance and keep updated rosters and headcount.
- Track skills and notate skills/levels in student accounts.
- Attend monthly staff clinics and meetings.
- Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb to assist an athlete.
- Ability to move mats & equipment including the strength to push or pull 75 pounds, and lift or carry 50+ pounds.
Team Coach
Duties:
- Coaching our AAU, Xcel , Compulsory or Optional athletes 15-20+/- hours per week.
- Coach, mentor, and be a positive (and fun!) influence to children while coaching skills and demonstrating safe spotting techniques.
- Treat the facility with care and consideration by engaging and completing assigned cleaning tasks.
- Take attendance and keep updated rosters and headcount.
- Track skills and communicate athlete progress professionally and efficiently with parents as needed.
- Attend monthly staff clinics and meetings.
- Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb to assist an athlete.
- Ability to move mats & equipment including the strength to push or pull 75 pounds, and lift or carry 50+ pounds.
